The Pictorial History of the Flying Tigers (signed edition) THE PICTORIAL HISTORY OF THE FLYING TIGERS by Larry M. Pistole. These are new and autograhed copies of its fifth printing being offered by the author and autographed by the same. This book is a detailed photographic study of the American Volunteer Group (AVG), its members, airplanes and memorabilia. There are 16 pages of color photography and 261 pages of text and photographs. Most of these photographs were previously unpublished. It is done on the best quality paper, hardbound with a color glossy hard cover. It measures approximately 11" X 9". There are numerous first hand accounts of aerial combat by many of America’s first Aces of the Second World War. Foreword by Captain Charley Davis Mott, U.S. Navy, Retired and former Flight Leader of the Second Pursuit Squadron, A.V.G. Mott was the first American aviator shot down and captured in WWII, having been shot down January 8, 1942, and held P.O.W. until the end of the war. We hope for payments to arrive in no more than 10 days. However we are glad to do lay-aways on most items if that helps out. We usually ask for 1/3 down, 1/3 in 30 days and 1/3 in 60 days.
