Montgomery, Alabama UCV Medal
My dad generally has always done all of these descriptions and pricing but we have now taken over that job. I’m sure we will make some mistakes but we will still back up these items with a full money back guarantee just the way he always has minus shipping and insurance cost. This has a celluloid pin of Robert E. Lee with it about the size of a U.S. quarter which has no pin device still in it. It is old and original. The 1931 UCV medal is very nice and has a red and white ribbon with it that is ragged. The medal itself is in very good condition. We don’t have much in the way of Confederate Veteran items.

Price: $285.00

47th Illinois Reunion Medal Sept. 23, 1908
My dad generally has always done all of these descriptions and pricing but we have now taken over that job. I’m sure we will make some mistakes but we will still back up these items with a full money back guarantee just the way he always has minus shipping and insurance cost. I don’t know who had all these reunion medals but they are all in nice condition. This one looks as if it were made yesterday. It has a celluloid center with a picture of Colonel John Bryner on it and is suspended by its original ribbon with a top bar with the "47th Ills. Infantry" on it. The back has all the information about the reunion on it as well.

Dug U.S. Cartridge Box Plate
This is a very nice plate with a smooth brown chocolate patina. It has most all of the lead fill and is the type that had some tag rivited on it. It appears the one hook attachment end was a period repair from a piece of jewelry once again showing these guys had it rough and made use of everything they had.

Dug Sword Pommell
This looks like to me to be for a Model 1840 Saber, Confederate or Yankee you make the call. I say yankee. Great patina, not mashed and ready to go back on a sword.

Dug Cuff VA Button - Lots of Gold!
This little button came from a CS Camp in Essex County, Virginia the later part of 2003. It is nice, missing the shank only and loaded with gold gilt. It has the period "EXTRA QUALITY" backmark. I have it shown at triple the size so you can see the detail. Nice button. Just a tad under 5/8" in diameter. Guaranteed real and of the period. Essex County contains the town of Tappahannock along the Rappahannock River.
